Tyler Dore

Dry Mill Manager

I started with Niagara in 2021 as the Dry Mill Manager after a long service in the New Zealand meat industry. I enjoy the variety of my role working with teams of people who like to work together. My primary responsibilities include the management of people and the oversight of production, processing and timber flow through from the dry chain to the dispatch yard, ensuring all objectives and specifications are met.

Cristiane Vieira

Treatment Plant Operator

I have been with Niagara for over three years and I work as a treatment plant operator. I am responsible for the LOSP treatment of Niagara timber products - this treatment process helps to preserve and extend the life of Niagara timber products ensuring they last in the harsh weather conditions of New Zealand. I have recently completed the NZC in Solid Wood Manufacturing – Timber Treatment, Level 3 and am now working towards obtaining my Level 4. What I enjoy most about my role is that I get to work autonomously, but always feel supported by my leaders and wider team, and that I can self-manage my time and workload. Niagara have given me opportunities to upskill and develop. I look forward to achieving more together with Niagara.

T-Jay Pikia

Machine Operator

Hi I am T-Jay! I started with Niagara in July 2022, prior to starting with Niagara I worked at Kmart. My job includes operating the Weinig to plain timber into different profiles, feeding timber into the Weinig, stacking timber and performing quality control checks. I really like the team I work with, and the overtime rates!

Jun Mamerto Petalla

I really enjoy my job with Niagara. I applied because friends told me Niagara is a great place to work. I trusted their advice, and I'm glad I did. Since joining, I've experienced a supportive, secure and enjoyable work environment. I appreciate having structure in my week and being able to spend every weekend with my family.
